I've been on their Managed WP plan for about 6 months now. Had a small plugin conflict mess up my site once and their support helped me restore from a weekly backup. It was pretty straightforward, took less than an hour to get everything back. So yeah, pretty reliable in my experience.

Nah, mostly just for new sign-ups. I've only ever seen renewal discounts during like, Black Friday or special sales, and they're rare.

Most hosting companies are like that. First invoice only. You might get lucky with a renewal code if you keep an eye out around big holidays but don't count on it.

If you're registering a new domain with them it might take a bit longer for the DNS to propagate, usually a few hours max. Hosting itself is quick though.

Pretty sure it's free as long as your domain is pointing to their servers. I've had mine for over a year now and it's still active.

Yeah, it's not like a trial. They give you let's encrypt usually, which is free anyway. So it's free for as long as you're with them, no catch.
